The team behind the systems
Keen Co/efficient is the AI and automation company of the Keen group, built by operators who've run the kind of work they now automate.
Why we exist
Most companies already believe AI and automation matter. The hard part is making them useful in daily operations, and that's process work, build work, and operating work, carried by one team with all three skills. Keen Co/efficient was set up to be that team: we find the work that should run automatically, redesign it, build the system, and stay accountable for it running.

Hugo Bernardo
Growth-focused operator and two-time founder, with 25 years building go-to-market teams and, more recently, AI-driven demand generation. Senior leadership roles at Omnicom, Eventbrite, and Siemens, scaling businesses from zero to multi-million-dollar revenue.

Tiago Pais
Tech entrepreneur and executive with over 15 years leading engineering teams and shipping products, from mobile platforms and progressive web applications to AI-native applications.

Nelson Marteleira
Owns the path from problem to prototype to production for every AI system we build, with deep experience where accuracy, explainability, and compliance are non-negotiable — document extraction, validation, decision routing, customer follow-ups. Partners closely with engineering, data, and risk to design systems that hold up to audit.

Luis Laginha
Senior data strategist who has guided financial institutions and global enterprises through data modernization, across banking, pharma, retail, energy, telecom, and HR tech — including prior work with Itaú Bank Portugal on structuring wallets, investments, and returns, and large-scale initiatives at Johnson & Johnson.

Cristiano Lopes
Lead software engineer across backend services and front-end applications, with a decade of mobile depth across iOS, Android, and Flutter.
The Keen group
Keen Co/efficient is one of three Keen companies. Keen Fund acquires and grows founder-owned B2B service businesses. Keen Founders is the platform and the public face of the group. The three share one conviction: businesses run better when the routine work runs itself.
